i was wondering if anyone was running a avxp7000cd with a avmp8000r. i need to find out what remote i need ive heard different ones and confused on what one to get

best bet is to call a shop that sells pioneer. the chances of someone on here running the exact same headunit are problaby slim to none.

i did that and called pioneer and got 2 different remotes. when i told them the remote they said that was the wrong remote pioneer told me. i figured there might not be any one but it was worth a shot. dont feel like gettin on an audio furom just to find out what remote but might have to.

its all good i just decided to order it from pioneer and take the bite if it didnt work but it worked so it is all good. bout read to sell it i like it i just want touch screen it sucks having to use the remote everytime i want to sdjust the volume

im the opposite, i can keep the remote close by so no need to be reaching for buttons on a screen.
