so my cats have been sittin on my cobalt ss seats for quite some time now in my bedroom. time to get them installed. think i'm goin to take them to auto outfitters just north of my house and see what they can do. also will talk to them to see if they will install my tein edfc as well. jason and i attempted to do it one saturday. was a bit more complex than just puttin the adjusters on top of each strut. will want them to make sure the wires are hidden nicely and tuck the controller underneath the cd player in the cubbie that's there from the cd bracket kit. also want to get my driver side c/f a-pillar installed. will need to move my boost & a/f gauge. wantin to put the a/f where the disconnected cigarette lighter is on the bezel and then f/g a pod holder on the steering column for the boost gauge. hopin to wire up my boost gauge to the meth kit i bought so when i'm in boost/meth activated the light will come on.

gettin a deal on stoptech slotted rotors and pads designed for auto-x for the nwf brakes from ls1tech. now just gotta remember to take these pads off at the end of the season. still have to buy tires for my 17's. most likely goin w/ dunlop direzza sport Z1 star spec. the car is at the shop now for my alignment appointment on thurs. anyone want to buy my black rims w/ or w/out tires? they are beat up pretty bad and need painted. will prob let them go for just the money i have in them for the new tires if w/ tires option is selected. not sure i'll post them up on jbo or not. i'm itchin for this auto-x season and cruising. still gotta install my 2.9" pulley and dual pass endplate and think about neon rear disk brakes. oh the joys of car enthusiasm.

just got a call from the alignment shop. my brand new hub bearing is bad. good thing it has a one year replacement. gotta tear the right side apart again and then take back to the alignment shop. at least i won't be doin somethin twice. was goin to put my black rims back on the front of the car so the wheel will only be off once.

and another crap. just realized the auto outfitters is no longer on michigan road. not sure why i thought they kept both stores open. they still have their main sign on the building on michigan. gonna try to see if a place called Fabcar will work on the brackets or may have to take to MAD.

called a placed called Fabcar off 96th & Michigan. they said they'll take a look at my seats. takin those in on Monday mornin. ran into another snag. my black rims are 5x114.3 and my hubs are 5x115. i didn't check to see if maybe the other 5 holes on the hub are 5x115 or not. any thoughts?

ya. waitin on my new rotors to come in. i'm still gettin a bad screeching. when i'm turnin i'm gettin a rubbin sound like i did on my last bad bearing. so i'm hoping it's not another bad hub. which seems a bit out of whack if it is. i think my black rims are out of the question right now. may just buy tires for my 17s after i've had a chance to make sure they fit. i'm pretty sure they will since skunk was run enkei's w/ dual bolt pattern like mine on his nwf. kind of wish i hadn't bought tires for my 18's now and just bought ben's 16's and painted them hot pink.
